Astrocamps are held in the Dryandra Forest at new moon in March and October, enabling members to observe the best of the summer and winter skies away from the city lights under dark skies. Astrocamps are weekends of all-night deep-sky viewing, daytime workshops, flora and fauna walks, very serious discussions on the cosmos late into the night, socialising and fun.

Solar viewing is always popular at camp and telescopes of all shapes and sizes can be seen on the viewing field
