The
Sidereal Times
The
Sidereal Times
is the official Journal of the Astronomical Society of Western
Australia. Published bi-monthly, it contains a range of informative
articles (mostly written by members), sky highlights
for the coming months, Society reports, classified advertisements,
notice of Society events and details of past activities within
the Society. Together with our monthly Ordinary meetings,
it provides the main form of communicating information to
Society members.
It also features up-to-the-minute bulletins on current and
future astronomical and space-related events from agencies
such as NASA, the Hubble Space Telescope Science Institute,
Jet Propulsion Laboratories, the European Space Agency, the
European Southern Observatory and the International Astronomical
Union, as well as gleanings from publications of astronomical
organizations throughout the world.
Links to a selection of articles that have appeared in The
Sidereal Times and have a long standing interest have
